I am ready for the weekend! Even though it has been a pretty good week, I seem to LIVE for the weekends! Tomorrow morning (Fri) Julie and I are leaving real early to go visit our friend Kim at Holden Beach! It will be so nice to have a little get away. I will miss Eddie and Cade but I truly think it is "good medicine" for women to have a little "girl time" ever now and then! For at least 48 hours I will not have to be responsible for anyone but myself! Ahhhh, I am not sure I will know how to act because I don't get that very often. Since we ladies all seem to have so much in common and things that we can relate so well to each other, it is good for us to spend time together, venting, laughing, crying, or whatever we want to do! I love my husband with all my heart, but many times it is my girlfriends that understand me the best! My friend Paula e-mailed me earlier and said she agreed with the "girl time" being "good medicine"....Paula, if you are reading this, you're going on the next trip, so get ready! Heck, we may just have to plan something VERY SOON! I seem to be a much nicer person at home when I get my "medicine" (LOL)!
Today I took Cade for his 7 year check up and I am thankful to say that he is a strong healthy little boy! I thank God everyday for my blessings! We are going to have to see an ENT to see if Cade might be a candidate to have his tonsils removed. He does have alot of trouble with his tonsils and if we have to have this done, I would rather do it before school goes back. Afterwards, Cade and I hung out together...did a little shopping (I'm training him right) and then came home and took a swim. He told me that he had had a good time with me today! I love spending time with him. We have a good time together and I treasure every moment! The day will come, too soon, that he will be hanging out with his friends (or a girlfriend) and he will not want Mom along! I hope that is a LONG time away!!
Well, I probably won't be on here until after the weekend! I hope you all have a great weekend and remember to always take a little time "just for yourself"....your family will like you a whole lot more (LOL) ;-D ~Until Later
