Christmas Is Almost Here

I certainly understand how the hustle and bustle of this time of year can take it's toll on truly enjoying the meaning of Christmas. This is a battle we have to fight and we really need to win! First and foremost as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we must reflect on the blessings in our lives. A Savior who loves us unconditionally! For my family, we enjoy celebrating what Christmas is all about. When Cade was born, we talked about Jesus and Christmas being his birthday and how God blessed us all with a wonderful gift! That is the first lesson we learn and then we talk about Santa Claus.....it can all roll together, if you allow it too....stop and think of this, if we can't believe in Santa Claus, someone we don't see, then how could we believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior....someone we don't physically see? Something to think about there. I also want you to picture this.....Santa has been around for a long time and I am sure that he stood over that manger as well, kneeling to pray with with everyone. Thankful for the true reason for the season! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Smile and be happy! Until Later!
