Glory Be, Another Snow Day

We were totally not expecting to get the snow we got yesterday! The news said we probably would not see anything more than some flurries...well, guess what? I woke up yesterday morning to a blanket of white spread out across our yard! It was beautiful! I woke Cade up by whispering in his ear "Guess what, you don't have to go to school today....it snowed"! Man, oh man, I don't think I have ever seen him jump out of bed so quickly....well except for Christmas Day! Of course, when I asked if he wanted to get dressed and go play in the snow, he informed me he would wait on his Dad to come home from work and play with him....what am I "chopped liver" - LOL! Oh well, we each have our place in his heart! As soon as his Dad walked through the door he was barking out orders to get his snow clothes on because he wanted to go play!....and they did! I made some pictures but mainly stayed inside in the warmth! Ooooo, it was nice and toasty inside! Of course, like usual, by early afternoon it was melting away fast. Guess thats just how it is around this area! Oh well, a fun time was had by all....I hope! Today, I am back at work and bored....let me tell ya, though, it is COLD outside! We have been talking about going to the mountains this weekend but right now we are not so sure about it because they have about 10 inches of snow on the ground.....we'll see as the weekend gets closer.....what am I talking about???? today is already Thursday. Guess we better make up our minds fast and quick! Well, keep warm, eat alot of soup and thank God for the beauty He blesses us with everyday! Until Later!
