Monday Morning Blues

It's Monday and as usual I would rather be anywhere else but here....then I have to stop, take a deep breath and learn to appreciate the fact that I do have a job and a steady income (what little of it there is-ha)! The weekend was great! Friday night I got together with some old friends and had a girls night out! We went to dinner, shared old stories and laughs and just had a great time being together! Saturday was what I call a great rainy day! I slept as late as I wanted and then had some quiet time after I got up....fire going in the fireplace, cup of coffee in hand and kicked back in the recliner flipping channels on the television until Eddie and Cade woke up! After watching ballgames we went to the movies, out to dinner and then Wal-Mart! Not a fancy time, but was perfect in my eyes! Sunday was church, family lunch, watch the ACC tournament (GO DUKE) and then a wonderful NAP!!! Cade played contently in his room or the basement and then after my nap, he and I spent time playing games on the computer! I couldn't think of any other place I would have rather been! I hope your weekend was full of blessings as well...no matter how big or small.....take the time to enjoy them, appreciate them and most of all, be THANKFUL for them because they pass by all to quickly!
