Same Ole' Chair

So, here I sit in my same ole' chair, staring at the computer screen. I felt the urge to write tonight, but really didn't have a major topic. Cade has had his bath and now in bed, Eddie just kissed me and left for work....and here I sit! Nothing wrong with that! CSI-New York is on the television, but I have been surfing the net and I really haven't been paying much attention to the program. Met my new neighbor tonight.....via facebook! Yep, we met via the internet.....but we did talk and will meet face to face this weekend. She seems really nice and they have an only son who is only a little older than Cade.....still feel they will be good playmates. As I said, there is no major topic of conversation tonight, just me, sitting here in my chair reflecting on the day. I worked in Greensboro and my Mom rode with me to keep me company. I dropped her off at Hamricks to shop while I tended to business. We fought torential rainfall on the ride home and we have had tornado warnings all around us this evening. Cade and I played hooky from church tonight, but I was so mentally drained, I just didn't want to go anywhere else this evening. I actually cooked dinner tonight. I haven't cooked much in a while......and then the usual, laundry, Cade's homework, Cade's bath....and of course, I have to get on facebook for a while! It has been a nice evening. Ever have those evenings when you just sit back in your same ole' chair and just do nothing.....but seem to accomplish the most? Weird huh?? I guess, but when I have the chance to sit back and just "think" things through, it seems that I can get more done that way because I usually can see the light at the end of the tunnel at the task at hand!

So, enough rambling, I'll write again soon, maybe there will be a topic, but then again, I might just take another evening to sit in my same ole' chair and reflect on the day.....try it, you'll like it too! Until later
