Life Lessons
Ummm, lets see, what kind of life lessons did I learn about this week? You know there is always something! I think one thing that I have learned...and this has been an on-going thing... is to learn who you can talk too and who you cannot! It's best to keep alot of thoughts and comments to yourself or only share them with your family (unless you have a friend you know you can trust 100%)...I do have a few of those! Ok, so now you are wondering, what did Starla do??!! No, I have NOT screwed up this week! (LOL) I did, however, send a message to a friend, congratulating her on something her son did and then added in a little "jest" (teasing) over a subject that she and I had been been teasing about with each other for quite some time.....well, for some reason, yesterday my "jest" was taken the wrong way! (OOPS!!) Oh yea, I am sure you know what is coming next. I received a message from her that was, well, lets just say, not all that friendly or appreciative of the praise that I had sent to her son! So, I quickly responded back and explained myself FULLY....which, I thought she understood, since it was something we had been discussing for a while. She wrote me back again and more or less apologized to me for taking it the wrong way....and so we are fine! However, you know me, I have to analyze everything and it made me stop and think about conversations that should be had or not. I think from now on, I will send congratulation messages and leave the "jest" out of it.....I'll just tease with my family (or the ones I know will understand 100%). So, thats my "life lesson" for this week, I guess! I would like to know what your week has held! Send me a comment and share....or send me a comment to simply let me know someone is actually reading these blogs! (chuckle).....Until Later!

Starla,
I do read your blogs and enjoy them immensely. Sometimes they make me laugh and sometimes they make me cry....especially when they hit home about something I should be doing that I'm not doing.
I love you and am thankful for your friendship.
