The crispness of Fall temperatures are now slowly, straying in upon us! I am enjoying every moment of it as well! The other night as I prepared to go to my son's football practice, I dressed in jeans, tennis shoes and a sweatshirt. It seems after I take my August vacation, I am soooooo ready for the cooler temperature. I'm ready to build bon-fires and roast marshmellows. I feel more at peace during this time. That inner peace that comes along with savoring the moment, taking the deep breath, hearing my son's laughter and just all of us being together! I count my blessings. I need to do it more often, but I do count my blessings. Even those little unexpected ones....the ones where when you least expect it, you receive something that catches your eye, makes you smile and makes you feel that you really are special. Life is not always perfect, but you can make it what you want it to be by your actions. I have found recently that I need to appreciate the little things that happen at the moment and not look too much into the future and don't have big expectations....you can be let down when you do. However, savor the moment, live for today and enjoy the attention you get when it is given.....and be thankful! I am! Sometimes there are too many things that can cloudy our minds....the questions of things we cannot quite figure out.......and the questioning of our own emotions, wondering WHY I allow myself to feel a certain way, or WHY should I let something so trivial affect me in such a way. I'm human, we all are and when things don't always run smoothly, we question ourselves first and foremost......and you know what??? Most times, it isn't "us" that really has the issues, we just let our minds make us believe that we do. So, I'm striving to enjoy the moment, appreciate things when given and be thankful for the memory of them when it might cease to continue happening. Yea, it's getting deep here, sometimes, you just need to let it be that way. Smile, and savor the happy times as they come.......and most of all , learn to appreciate the moment!~~until later
