Happy Wednesday!
Well, we have made it half way through this week. So far, it's been a good week and I hope the rest will be too! This past weekend I was in Raleigh for the Miss N.C. Outstanding Teen Pageant and the Miss North Carolina Pageant. It was a nice little get away and the young ladies that won the two titles are amazing young women and will do great as representatives for our state. My name is on the North Carolina Judges list and I have had several people talk to me about coming to judge their pageants through out the next few months. I enjoy it when I can go. You are made to feel like a celebrity...and of course, getting all "glammed up" is fun too! While in Raleigh we shopped during the day and then attended the pageants at night. It was nice to not have to be responsible for anyone but myself for those couple days. I did miss Eddie and Cade very much and was ready to get home to them on Sunday. Even though the stress of everyday routines can get the best of you sometimes, it seems that when I do have time to get away, I can hardly wait to get back! This evening, Eddie has to go in to work early. I am not sure what Cade and I will get into but we might just have to let Dominos Pizza cook dinner for us tonight! I hate it when Eddie has to go into work early. He has to leave so early and some evenings we don't get to see him at all....and when we do it is for only about 30 minutes max. Guess I shouldn't complain to much. Phillip Morris will be shutting their doors in the near future and we will be wishing for those extra hours! We are also trying to plan a vacation for this summer. I have been looking at houses to rent at the North Carolina beaches. We need to make a decision soon of exactly what and where we are going to do. Seems I am just rambling, but I wanted to get my thoughts down on paper. Sometimes it seems I just need ""someone to talk too"" and so I am thankful for this blog....I can talk and ramble and sometimes it just makes me feel good. My dear friend Kim has started her own blog and in her message she talks about her day at the beach and how she is spending her summer. I am so envious....I would love to be laying on the beach right beside her so we can gossip all we want (LOL)! I am happy for her too because she wanted this opportunity for the summer and she is deserving! So, I'll hush for now. Write me if you want to "chat" and I hope everyone who is reading this has a Blessed rest of the week! Until Later~~Starla
