Just Me

It's Wednesday night, Cade's asleep and Eddie is at work. I had a few minutes to myself, so here I sit at my trusty computer typing away. Do you ever just sit back and reflect on the day and come to appreciate this moment of quietness? I know, sounds crazy, but I don't get alot of "down time" so I enjoy and savor every moment. Eddie and I were talking on the phone a while ago. He had to go into work early so he had a break around 8:00. We are trying to decide what to do for the July 4th holida. Oakboro always has the carnival and all the fourth of July festivities...pageant, parade, carnival and fireworks. It is fun but sometimes I like to just get away. We have talked about going to Mother's house in the mountains. I love to go up there. I actually rest while I am there. Of course, I do throw in a little shopping also. My family would think something was wrong with me if I didn't shop! LOL!

Well, I am going to get in bed, prop the pillow up and watch a little television. I hope your day has been a blessed one. I am thankful for a good day. ~Until Later
