Happy Monday

It's Monday! So far, the day is going good, so I guess I can't complain too much!-ha The weekend was nice, hot, but nice! My Saturday started out by going to the jewelry show with Becky. We always have such a nice time and I usually come home with a few pretty things! ;-) We were home by 1:00 so I spent the evening with Eddie and Cade in the pool and gave my tan a little boost (what little tan there is). We took Cade to see the movie Wall-E later in the afternoon and it was a cute movie. I think Eddie would prefer an action packed adventure, but I will say he is a good sport to go see these kiddy movies! Mother went with us so after the movie we had dinner at Jay's Seafood and then hit Wal-Mart....guess you can say it is a Saturday night tradition in Albemarle....movie, dinner and Wal-Mart! Hey, we were "big timing it" - LOL!

Sunday was church and then we laid around the pool all Sunday evening. Over all it was a relaxing weekend and I needed that really bad! I don't know about many of you, but sometimes I get so "bogged down" with everyday busy routines that I get overwhelmed and then the emotional roller coaster ride seems to take over when I cannot figure out how to get everything done, or maybe I don't get asked to participate in things I use to (because of being so busy with other things-maybe-who knows?).......it can all come to a point when I don't feel like "me"! So, when we get like this, how do I get "me" back?? Most times, it takes a weekend to just "do nothing" or at least do only the things that I want to do and not that I HAVE to do! I received a daily devotional this morning and I want to share it with you all....gave me something to think about! Hope it inspires you as well! Have a blessed week~Until Later

DEVOTION:
Do you know you have treasure within you? God put it there. It’s in your unique qualities, plus the fire in your soul. Life may have thrown cold water on that fire but God can rekindle it. Note, this treasure within you “is from God.” And what He owns He protects, He nurtures, and will use to His glory. But God is a wise businessman; when He invests He expects a return
