Happy 4th of July

Well, it's not quite the 4th yet, but I probably won't be in front of a computer on the 4th. We plan to go to the mountains. I am sooooo ready for a get away! The Oakboro 4th of July festivities start tonight and we are taking Cade to the carnival. It is always an exciting time and Oakboro comes alive this week. We will miss the parade, but thats ok, we will either be in Cherokee at their new Amusment Park or possibly at Sliding Rock or Looking Glass Falls. I have to start getting everything packed up for our trip. Guess I will try to start tonight. Cade has a doctors appointment tomorrow morning so I am taking off work and we will spend the day together. His appointment is early so I promised him we would go to IHOP afterwards and then to SUPER TARGET! That is mine and Cade's favorite place in the world - LOL! He has some birthday money and gift cards that are buring a hole in his pocket....I'll bet you that he tries to talk me into buying whatever treasures he finds so he can SAVE his money! Oh no, I'm not falling for that one....yeah, right! LOL! Well, I hope the 4th brings happiness and excitement for everyone! Enjoy and be safe!
